Geoff McConville is probably one of Ireland’s best known opticians, with one of the most technically progressive practices in Belfast. A graduate of The City of London University, Geoff set up the first Boots Opticians in Northern Ireland in 1986, managing its flagship store in Donegall Place. Two years later he opened his own independent practice, a modern, chic boutique showcasing international brands. A move in 1998 to an elegant Georgian townhouse in Chichester Street, Belfast, gave the practice rooms for significant expansion - sophisticated new technology,  the most comprehensive eyewear showcase in the province, luxurious reception and consulting rooms.
